We are SO excited to see you this fall! Often times it’s hard to decide what kind of session to book- What’s going to be best for your family. You can always reach out to us and we’d be more than happy to chat is over with you and help you decide. To also help, we have some great tips on how to choose the perfect session type for you.

The differences between a Full or Mini Session are in a few important areas including: date & time choice, location options, length of the session, variety and number of images, and cost. Every family functions differently and that does play a factor is how the session will go.

A Mini-Session is exactly how it sounds. It’s a smaller version of a Full session and in photography terms that means time and # of photos. Meaning, you are only getting a little taste of the pie or cake or whatever it is that you prefer, instead of the whole enchilada/experience (now I’m hungry for many things). This might be perfectly fine for what you are looking for and it’s not to say that you won’t like your little taste, because WE KNOW you will love it! In fact, it will leave you wanting more! No matter what, we will be capturing BEAUTIFUL photos of you and your loved ones.

What A Mini Session Includes:

15 minutes long
Stacked in a specific time block
It’s at a fixed location of THE PHOTOGRAPHERS choice
It’s a fixed date of THE PHOTOGRAPHERS choice
Proofing gallery ~30 images (not for download)

Includes 5 digital High Resolution images

MINI Sessions are best used for:

updating family photos several times a year

when you know your kids/family do NOT need time to warm up
Christmas Card Photos
You aren’t particular about any location or date
You want to try us out before booking a full session because you want to test the product before you make a bigger #investment (No shame in the game)

The Full Experience will be, well, also how it sounds. Not only will you be getting the beautiful family portraits, we will also have more time with your family to get to know you and truly capture the essence of your dynamic and the love behind the beauty! We will get more of an opportunity to pull that out of you and really get a chance to create imagery for your home.

What a Full Session Includes:

~1 hour (give or take)
Stacked in a specific time block
It’s at a location of YOUR choice (we have many suggestions if you need)
It’s a date of YOUR choice (depending on availability)
Includes 15 digital images

FULL Sessions are best used for:

families with small children that take some time to warm up/shy
Generally for Large Milestones (cake smash, maternity, newborns & engagements)

more posing options and candid photos between posing
You have control over the location and timing of the session / can do multiple locations and outfits
More time spent for us to truly get you comfortable and build trust as we learn your family dynamics
